The success of modern orthodontic treatment depends to a great extent on the various bonding systems that are used clinically. While there are other similar adhesive systems already on the market, these systems have been developed to overcome some of the clinical issues currently encountered by the modern clinician. By using modern materials and process technologies, these products are manufactured efficiently, thereby passing the end benefits to the customer in the form of "reduced price with excellent performance". Tiger Bond Band Cement - "Trust the Tiger"

Tiger Bond is a high performance composite light cure band cement. It is designed to cure with most light cure light sources used in orthodontics, which function in the "blue" light spectral range, i.e., 460 nM to 490 nM. The inclusion of Glass ionomer in Tiger Bond allows for the slow release of fluoride in-vivo. It is a medium viscosity blue paste administered from a preloaded syringe. Each syringe contains 4 gms of paste sufficient to fit at least 30 to 35 bands.

How to use? Tiger Bond is applied as a bead to the inner surface of a dry, pre-fitted band. Once the band is placed on the tooth, the excess cement is carefully cleaned off. The cement is then cured with a light gun by illuminating on the occlusal surface as well as the gingival interface for 30 seconds.

Tiger Boost Light Cure Band Cement Accelerator

In difficult situations leading to insufficient light curing, Tiger Boost can provide additional curing after the light curing has been completed. It converts Tiger Bond to a "dual cure" system. The Tiger Boost contains a chemical cure catalyst that is released during the light curing step. Hence, it provides an additional guarantee to the overall cure.

How to use? Squeeze a couple of drops of Tiger Boost on the mixing pad. A thin layer of Tiger Boost is then brushed onto the dry band inner surface. Apply a bead of Tiger Bond and fit band onto tooth. Cure per Tiger Bond instructions. Note: Tiger Bond can be used with any light cure bonding system for additional curing.

Lion One-Step Kit Orthodontic Adhesive - "Lead With the Lion"

Lion One-Step is a high strength one-step or No-Mix adhesive. Unlike most other one-step adhesives which exhibit a white adhesive line around the bracket, Lion One-Step is uniquely formulated to resemble "tooth color" once it is cured. It gains full strength in 24 hours and maintains a high bond strength throughout treatment. Because of its unique filler particle size, it debonds easily at the end of treatment.

How to use? Squeeze a few drops of activator onto the mixing pad. Brush a thin layer onto the bracket base and on the dry, etched enamel surface. Apply a small amount of the composite resin from the syringe onto the bracket base. Immediately place bracket on the tooth. Make any final adjustments within 20 seconds past application to bracket.

Leopard Light Cure Bracket Adhesive - "Lean on the Leopard"

Leopard Light is a highly filled, high viscosity, medium flow light cure bracket adhesive. The high viscosity minimizes bracket "drift" and helps in accurate bracket placement. Unlike most adhesives, Leopard Light is specifically designed to show a "tan" color during bracket bonding to help in clean-up of excess flash. On consecutive visits, the adhesive slowly blends with the tooth color. Some light cure adhesives are almost clear and cannot be easily detected and cleaned up prior to curing. Once cured, these adhesives require extensive cleaning efforts. Leopard Light eliminates this problem. By choosing the optimum particle size distribution and the amount of filler loading, Leopard Light minimizes shrinkage, water absorption and maximizes bond strength.

How to use? Squeeze a few drops of sealant onto a mixing pad. Apply a thin layer onto dry, etched enamel. Apply composite paste to bracket base and place bracket on enamel. Clean-up excess adhesive flash prior to light curing. Cure for 20 seconds mesially and distally.
