Testimonials

Dear ClassOne/Zulauf,

My staff and I would like to thank you for the great service your company has provided to my practice. From the staff's perspective the timely manner in which products are shipped to us is exceptional. Cory Cooper has been an absolute jewel, customizing and facilitating orders for us.

As an orthodontist the high quality products and competitive prices that Class One offers is unbeatable. It used to be that only the "big name" companies provided high quality products, however I think Class One has knocked down that barrier. I am very pleased with all the products that I use from Class One and would recommend them to my colleagues. Thanks Cory and Class One for your devotion to high quality and excellence in service.

Thank You,

To ClassOne Orthodontics,

I wanted to take time to write a letter starting our appreciation and satisfaction with ClassOne as our full-line orthodontic supply company. We have streamlined all of our ortho products to ClassOne and have saved near 40% on our spending over the last two years in doing business with you. As a dental practice doing orthodontics, we have found that many ortho supply companies show preffered treatment and pricing to exclusive ortho practices only. With ClassOne, we recieve quality ortho products at great price and personal customer service from both an outside and inside sales team. Cory Copper is our representative and has done a wonderful job of analyzing our orthodontic needs to customize our ordering so that it is simple for myself and the rest of our staff. He is easy to reach when I need something and quick to respond when I have a request. Furthermore, we are updated with new products in the filed and pricing specials on monthly basis. I highly recommend any practice doing orthodntic to take a serious look at ClassOne to see what they can do for you.

Sincerely,
Martha Garrett

Carrière Distalizer,

Congratulations on the new Carrière Distalizer. Over the years I have used every method and or "appliance" to move maxillary molars to class one. The "Carrière " is by far the best and different from the others. I wish I had thought of it.

Robert M. Williams DDS, MS.

Gentlemen,

I wanted to send a quick note to update you on the Carrière appliance we have been using since the first of this year. We have used the appliance on the full permanent dentition of growing young adolescents. We have placed both unilateral and bilateral appliances. A fixed lower lingual arch has been used for stabilization of the lower arch in both crowded and uncrowded mandibular arches. In most cases, we are starting with 5/16 inch, 6.5 oz elastics and then moving on to 1/4 inch, 6.5 oz elastics. Patient cooperation has been excellent since the patients are motivated at the start of the treatment. Usually, getting the braces placed after the distalization has proved to be great incentive for the patience to cooperate.

Our results, to date, have been consistently very good. In all cases we have achieved Class I or better molar relationships after four to six months of treatment. I am pleased to tell you the Carrière Distalizer has found a useful place in our office for the treatment of some individuals with Class II malocclusions.

Sincerely,
Clark D. Colville, D.D.S., M.S.

Dear Sirs:

After the purchase of the "Carrière appliance" the treatment of Class II in adults and growing patients is now easier, and is the best system that I have used. Its is accurate, fast, and very well accepted for patients.

Sincerely,
Dr. Hector Luis Rodriguez

Dear ClassOne Orthodontics,

We just tried our first case with the Carrière Distalizer and the patient went from almost a full class II to a full class I in 6 short weeks.Amazing results!

It would take us 12-15 months to do the same thing with other appliances! We've just ordered more!

Sincereley,
Dr. Edward Murdoch

Dear Class One:

Thanks so very much for producing the Carrière Distalizer! I wish I had invented it years ago because it's made my life so much easier and it works fabulously.

Again - thanks for a terrific appliance.

Best Regards,
Tom Atkinson, Jr., D.M.D., M.S.

Dear Class One Orthodontics and the persistent Lisa Fittz:

Thanks for introducing the Carrière Distalizer to me at the SWDC in 2004. With some initial skepticism, we have used this appliance in several cases this past year.

In every case we have had complete or nearly complete resolution of the Class II bites we have used it on. We have used them in both the mixed and permanent dentition.

The pictures I have enclosed are of a 12 year old with permanent dentition. We placed the Carrière Distalizer in May and removed it in July. In those two and one half months it's readily visible how much movement we were able to achieve.

We are no longer skeptical and will continue to use this product in the future.

Sincerely,
Harold A. Small, D.D.S., P.A.

Dear ClassOne Orthodontics,

I have used the Carrière Distalizer on approximately 10 cases with very satisfactory results. I have found it especially useful in adult Class II cases. It is often difficult to correct adults into Class I while they are in full braces. By correcting the Class II relationship at the start of treatment, finishing the cases is much easier. I have also used it in Invisalign cases to correct the Class II first before starting Invisalign for the same reasons. Patients find the Distalizer to be comfortable and inconspicuous.

Sincereley,
Michael G. Steinberg, DDS

Dear Terry,

I have been very pleased with your brackets and the other products that I have used. I continue to refer my friends to your company for their orthodontic products. Thank you for all the samples that I recieved at the meeting and i am especially interested in tyring your very flexible thermal wire.

Sincereley,
Dr. Dennis R. Miller, D.D.S.S

Dear ClassOne,

We are so excited about the web site created for ordering on line. It has saved our office so much time, and I find myself ordering more from Class One because of the convenience this has created. Our office has been so impressed with the questions that we have, being answered so quickly, all we have to do is e-mail our sales rep as we are ordering. The office manager loves the web site because she now does not have to take the time to make a call to pay the bills, we just pay on line. It has really simplified all areas of our ortho needs! Thank you Cory, and everyone at Class One!

Sincereley,
from everyone at Dr. Stewart's office

Dear ClassOne,

In the past I have used variuos appliances to correct Class II adolescent patients including: herbst, Hilgers pendulum, wilson mechanics and of course headgear. The Carrière Distalizer does the job rapidly (4 to 6 months) nad effectively with little or no discomfort and excellent patient acceptance. it is now my first appliance choice for Class II corrections.

Sincerely,
Norman w. Garn, D.D.S., M.S. NWG

Dear ClassOne,

I was very pleased to receive your package "on time", unlike other big companies which are full of promises and only. During my studies I was working with Class One bands mostly but also used brackets from your company. I am sure that with such a service I will be gradually using more of your products. About the Australian .016, it is the Special grade that I am mostly using.

Thanking you in advance,
Dr.Taramides Renos

Dear Terry Hucks & Clay Carrell,

Thank you and your company for The ClassOne Meeting for San Antonio and Austin Study Group. It was educational and enjoyable, and the gifts were very thoughtful.

My staff attended Joan Garbo's seminar and it was very motivational. We plan to implement her energy and enthusiasm in our practice. The setting was nice and relaxing, allowing my staff to focus attention on the speaker. We had the privilege of seeing Joan Garbo in San Fransico and can't wait to attend her next seminar. I look forward to your call when you are in the area.

Sincerely,
Paul B. Wiegand D.D.S.,M.S.D.

Dear ClassOne,

Thanks for introducing the Mini L.E.D. to clinical orthodontics- it has had an immediate, tangible impact on the smoothness of our daily patient flow. Having tried a plethora of curing lights from plasma arc to cordless, etc., we love the Mini L.E.D. it is very lightweight, easily maneuvered into those difficult-to-reach "tight spots" (especially on squirming, heavy salivators) and ultra-fast. The shield is easy to adjust and changing cure time cycles is a breeze. Having the Mini L.E.D. makes a huge difference since we bond a 7-7 and when bonding several posteriors (like all 7's). Between self-etching primer and the Mini L.E.D., re-bonds are lightening quick. Our clinical tech's fight over the L.E.D.. I'm sure we'll have to eventually equip all operatories. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Sid Brantley, D.M.D., PSC

Mini L.E.D. Ortho: A Breakthrough in Power & Convenience

The Mini L.E.D. Ortho curing light is manufactured by Satalec, France, and supplied through the British firm, DB Orthodontics, Ltd., to Class One Orthodontics for distribution. The unit consists of a thin cylindrical cordless curing wand weighing a mere 6 ounces. The round charging base is 4 inches in diameter and comes with a U.S. wired transformer plug. The wand has push buttons to set the curing time for 4, 8, or 12 seconds and an on/off button. A small amber-colored light shield is attached to the wand tip.

The curing want has been extensively tested in England with sophisticated light intensity metering equipment. A statement was supplied with the unit attesting to the fact that the light delivers significantly more intense light energy than the standard quartz-tungsten-halogen (QTH) lights currently used in many offices. This is the reason that the light allows for curing times of 12 seconds or less. It is promoted as being able to cure light-cured orthodontic adhesives in 4 seconds per bracket.

I was skeptical at first regarding this rapid curing claim. I tested the light my Cure Rite visible curing light meter (EFOS, Inc., Mississauga, Ontario, Canada), and I found its readings to be comparable to those routinely obtained with my QTH units. Further reading of the statement on light intensity, however, revealed that my meter was much less sensitive then the equipment used in England and that it had too large a sensing window to accurately measure this new light's performance.

I was still unconvinced, so I began using the light with the 12 second curing time. On some teeth, I even used two curing cycles. As it became apparent the 12-second cure was clinically as effective as my usual 30 second QTH cure, I decided to experiment with the 8 and 4 second curing times. I now use the 4-second setting exclusively for both Transbond (Unitek, Monrovia, CA) and Fuji Ortho LC (GC Corp., Tokyo, Japan) adhesives for brackets and for Multi-Cure Glass Ionomer Orthodontics Band Cement (Unitek, Monrovia, CA) for bands.

The unit is a vast improvement over my A.C. powered QTH units. Its light weight and small size make it very easy to handle and to carry to our satellite offices. Both operator and patient appreciate the reduced curing time. While I have not depleted the battery charge to any great extent in daily usage of the unit, it is claimed to have an extensive useable number of curing cycles per full charge. In addition, the light suffers no gradual decay of intensity with battery use. It delivers full intensity until the battery power is sufficiently depleted, then it simply shuts down pending recharging.

Well, so far I've only praised this new addition to my armamentarium, and I suppose I should add least one negative observation. Due to the small size, weight and cylindrical shape of the wand, I have found it awkward to adjust the position of the small amber viewing shield during the curing process. I currently wear my amber safety lenses for this reason when curing. A larger shield that would encircle most of the area around the wand tip would be beneficial.

In summary, I consider this cordless L.E.D. curing light to be one of the most valuable additions to my practice in recent years. My assistants would probably come to blows with me were I to decide not to keep it!

Sincerely,
Christopher F. Anderson, DDS, MSD
